Abstract

Description

This article is in one of the leading UK journals on criminal justice, it also has an international reputation. The article was the first to explore and apply the notion of responsibilisation to probation’s practice with risky offenders and as such has been quite widely cited. The article presents a good balance of theory from contemporary post-modern theorists with application to practice issues in work with offenders, and draws on the author’s own research.
