Traditional teaching replaced with online and e-learning technologies. Students are divided into multidisciplinary teams to explore various aspects of a complex patient case. Facilitated discussion between teams who have explored different aspects of the case, a plenary session, reflection and personal development planning conclude the cycle of learning. Descriptive statistics and thematic analysis are being used to assess student’s perceived changes in knowledge and confidence relating learning outcomes along with exploration of skill and knowledge acquisition.
