Abstract

Description

Drawing on empirical work from ‘Young People, Social Capital and the Negotiation of Risk’, under the ESRC-funded ‘Pathways into and out of Crime for Young People’ programme, this is a major contribution to research on social capital, risk and young people. It has been presented at international conferences and contributes to the theoretical advancement of risk and social capital research. It has generated considerable academic interest and an invitation to an ESRC seminar series. As a secondary output, a practitioner leaflet was produced for the social policy and youth and community jig.list: Leaflet for practitioners: Social Capital and Young People.
