Abstract
A consistent element of the Made in the Middle exhibition is to invite a small number of makers to exhibit alongside those selected from the open call. This enables us to feature practices or disciplines which haven’t come through the selection or aren’t represented by many exhibitors. The invited makers tend to have a well-established practice within the region or they are exploring interesting or innovative techniques within their work. Rajesh Gogna is one of the invited makers this year.
The exhibition launched at the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum in Coventry on 3rd December 2016 and is touring for approximately eighteen months. The first East Midlands venue in the tour is the The National Centre for Craft & Design in May 2017- Brewhouse Arts Centre- 30th September 2017 - 25th November 2017- ending its tour at Rugby Museum & Art Gallery March 2018.
