Abstract

This part of the series highlights the potential for women to be further disadvantaged by the TR agenda- possibly with more women than ever being received into custody as a result of breach of new licence requirements. In addition the concluding statements highlight the progressive ideas of the Scottish Minister for Justice in relation to focussing on prioritising non custodial sentences for women where possible, and highlighting the Glasgow 218 project as a model of excellence.
