Abstract
This present explores the cycle of invisibility for LBQ women with breast cancer and their help seeking behaviour. It presents data from a qualitiative study of 18 LBQ women with breast cancer or their carer or partner. Issues of concern included coming out to professionals, accessing support; involving partners and experiences of reconstructive surgery. Recommendations for developing services are proposed alongside a small impact case study.
