Abstract
Description
This refereed chapter, later edited and reproduced as an OU reader (Harrison, R. and Wise, C. (eds), 2005 Working with young people. Sage / OU), uses a series of case studies drawn from empirical work to examine how youth workers use learning in and with groups to promote young people’s learning. It is widely quoted to illustrate key themes in modern youth work practice.
