Description

A critique of holography using case study and science fact. Unprecedented research from a pioneering holographer. Based on research supported by the Arts Council of Great Britain, De Montfort University, the Millennium Fellowship and the Shearwater Foundation. Discusses the aesthetic currents that shaped the interdisciplinary Nature of imaging science. Combines distinct disciplinary perspectives (history of Science, philosophy of science, sociology of science, sociology of the professions, physics and cultural history) to provide a uniquely rounded and coherent analysis.
