This publication documents the research, creation, testing, and critical evaluation of a Fuzzy Inference System (FIS) used to return whether patients have a healthy blood pressure which may aid in prevention of Cardiovascular Disease (CVD). The system aforementioned will utilise public health statistics in order to attempt production of crisp values, those of which point to the likelihood of a patient’s blood pressure level. The FIS will take into account those who are aware of their blood pressure value but uncertain of what this means, providing the crisp output and being used to therefore aid them in future steps; and will also contain a more fuzzy logic-oriented calculation regarding the person’s lifestyle.en
