Acaso e arte computacional: Tensões entre irregularidade e ordem

This text deals with the role of chance in a theoretical manner, presents some images produced computationally from a set of algorithms that rely on chance. It also introduces, briefly, the production of the art group [+zero] (www.maiszero.org), composed of four Brazilian artists and researchers who create computer art from indeterminate situations based on the philosophical concept of play.
