Journal of Health Psychology has an ISI impact factor of 1.228 with a cited half-life of 5.6. The article has been cited by several journal articles - primarily within the United Kingdom. For example British Journal of Midwifery (York et al. 2005), Psychology and Health (Brocki & Wearden, 2006) and Journal of Health Psychology (Glesson & Frith, 2006).
