Abstract

Research on entrepreneurial universities has sought to explain the actions and impact of these organizations, however few studies have considered the changing landscape of education in the context of the entrepreneurial university. In this chapter we consider entrepreneurial behavior in the context of a transnational partnership in order to examine existing assumptions and outcomes of prior research under a novel model of university entrepreneurship. We find that prior research supports our observations of growth trajectory, knowledge base, and the characteristics of regional development systems.
