An output from EPSRC/DTI LINK research project GR/S08589/01 (total project budget £534,400, funds received £344,970), "The Development of a Sustainable Metal Working Fluids (SMWF’s) Technology". The project was rated by DTI and EPSRC panels as “tending to internationally outstanding”. The new SMWF formulations have been exploited by a number of partners including Kuwait Petroleum International (phil.davies@Q8oils.com), Houghton Plc, G-Mach Engineering Ltd - Graham Miller (sales@g-mach.co.uk) and Paul Smith (PSmith@houghton.co.uk).en
