Abstract
Intermedial practice is becoming a ubiquitous feature of contemporary theatrical performance with complex, interdependent relationships being established between live and digital media. As professional practitioners continue to extend the boundaries of this form and theoretical perspectives are constantly refreshed to respond to such work, what are the implications for pedagogy within higher education? This article seeks to consider how educational professionals within the university sector may begin to construct an ‘enabling correlation between contemporary practice and emergent intermedial theory’ so as to facilitate dynamic learning opportunities for students.
