Abstract
This article puts forward the learning and teaching benefits of using an ‘Embodied Creativity’ approach to academic writing, using techniques adapted from Art & Design practice. This work is viewed within the context of the East Midlands Writing PAD centre. The concept of Embodied Creativity is discussed in relation to connecting body and mind, learning environments, the role of emotion, new connections and reflection.
