    Description
This paper advanced knowledge and understanding in the structure-activity relationships of zeolitic materials as a function of zeolite pore size and the nature the solvent and substrate. This work was both original and innovative and showed for the first time that compounds encapsulated within the smaller pore of a zeolite were protected from attack by enzymes in the surrounding environment, thus opening up applications in a number of industries, such as, the medical textile industry.
