Getting equal: the implications of new regulations to prohibit sexual orientation discrimination for health and social care
Description
This paper makes a link between my teaching in social policy for social work and published research. It makes a theoretical contribution to debate surrounding the culture shift in the legislative landscape for LGBT people and presents a detailed analysis fo policy and legislation as it relates to LGBT people as users of social work. The paper led to an invitation to present a keynote address to the Association of Research Ethics Committees annual conference: Social Care and Social Work Research - Different Ethics.
