    Abstract
This paper offers an introduction to the Intention/Reception (I/R) project outlining its background, its context, pertinent points concerning the design and operation of its methodology, and some of the key results discovered thus far. Following this, noting the adult-centric nature of Electroacoustic music and hence its limited visibility in music curricular in primary and secondary eduction (in the UK), the paper argues for a greater exposure of Electroacoustic music to a younger audience. It proposes a pedagogic model - based on the I/R methodology developed by Rob Weale - that could be introduced to UK students at Key Stage 3 (11-14 years of age).
