Item Open Access Deep learning application pros and cons over algorithm(EAI, 2022-02-18) Moshayedi, Ata jahangir; Roy, Atanu Shuvam; Kolahdooz, Amin; Shuxin, YangDeep learning is a new area of machine learning research. Deep learning technology applies the nonlinear and advanced transformation of model abstraction into a large database. The latest development shows that deep learning in various fields and greatly contributed to artificial intelligence so far. This article reviews the contributions and new applications of deep learning. The main target of this review is to give the summarize points for scholars to have the analysis about applications and algorithms. Then review tries to investigate the main applications and uses algorithms. In addition, the advantages of using the method of deep learning and its hierarchical and nonlinear functioning are introduced and compared to traditional algorithms in common applications. The following three criteria should be taken into consideration when choosing the area of application. (1) expertise or knowledge of the author; (2) the successful application of deep learning technology has changed the field of application, such as voice recognition, chat robots, search technology and vision; and (3) deep learning can have a significant impact on the application domain and benefit from recent research with natural language and text processing, information recovery and multimodal information processing resulting from multitasking deep learning. This review provides a general overview of a new concept and the growing benefits and popularity of deep learning, which can help researchers and students interested in deep learning methods.Item Embargo Design And Development of Cost-Effective Exergames For Activity Incrementation(IEEE, 2022-02-21) Moshayedi, Ata jahangir; Sambo, Sithembiso Khaya; Kolahdooz, AminIn the modern era of computing and mobile technology, the human lifestyle is affected by technology, and people are adopting habits that promote sedentary behaviour, including watching TV, playing video games, using computers, and mobile phones, leading to increased periods when people are not actively engaging in physical activity. The combination of Virtual reality and Exergame has been recently introduced and used, and this is a combination that this paper takes an interest in. This research paper shows the design and development of the Happy Child exergame, which, along with the design, the cost of the device has been taken into consideration to be more accessible to the public. Happy Child consists of a mobile application (APP), an Arduino board as the main processor which, with the two types of sensors (Accelerometer and temperature), will send the user data and the players BMI to the user personal computer and after playing each designed game which uses Unity to develop send back to Arduino and store on using the mobile phone. In this article, an Arduino-based heart rate information system is designed and implemented. Due to the reasonable price and easy accessibility of the created system in the fraction, it has many applications. Based on ISO 8373:2012 The service robots Split into personal service types of robots characteristically meant to use outside of manufacturing and the professional setting robots and professional service robots that can use as non-commercial individuals professional service robots can use as commercial professionals. Even as the service robot development research has shown various new service robots with specific ability proposed, some parts in these robot types are similar and are day by day extended. MIR and AGV robots are the most famous service robot with dual ability in the industry and the home applicant. This paper covers most of the papers published on the MIR platform to address the detailed design and part of these types, which can be useful for industries and researchers. The most significant thing that has been done through this review is a service robot design.
