Abstract

Despite the latest techniques developed and used in object recognition fields, such as; surface scanning by a range sensor, shape-from-shading, close range photogrammetry, etc. these techniques have their own limitations for ultimate recognition. In this paper. to overcome above these limitations, real-time photogrammetrical bundle adjustment method, laser illumination technique and specially designed data base are optimally combined to gain better performance of object recognition in real time and in hostile environment.
