This output reports the findings of research sponsored by Brand-Rex Ltd (contact Ken Hodge khodge@brand-rex.com) to a value of over £200k. The company has used the findings reported in this paper to improve design and testing methods used for their newer structured cabling solutions. The research associated with this paper resulted in collaboration with Belden (Indiana, USA, contact Carl Dole carl.dole@belden.com) on cable shielding optimization which, as well as being used by the company internally, resulted in a conference paper.en
