dc.description.abstract | All kinds of optimization methods of interactive walkthrough of large VRML scenes were studied, and an efficient and simple algorithm of dynamic loading and rendering large VRML scene on Web was proposed, which could cull the visible VRML objects only within current AOI region. According to the positions of buildings and viewpoint, thus, VRML browser only upload the currently visible models into memory and remove the invisible objects from memory when viewer is moving in VRML scene. Experimental results also show the effectiveness of the algorithm to reduce the time of uploading and rendering a large VRML scene. | en |
