dc.descriptionAn output from a DTI funded project (Ref:CHBN/007/00052C) entitled "ICT for Sustainable Development in Electrical /Electronics Goods Manufacture" was a framework for collaborative sustainable product development (CSPD). The CSPD was piloted by the industrial collaborators on a mobile communication station and tangible benefits such as better integration of design process into a collaborative environment, resulted in reduction of product development lead time, cost, and wasted resources by at least 10%, ICER - Industry Council for Electronic Equipment Recycling- Clair Snow ws@icer.org.uk / cs@icer.org.uk.en
